I reported two phishing scams to Outlook by clicking on the drop down "report phishing scam" in the Outlook mail app. Where does the phish e-mail go and is it reported to the genuine company, in this case a bank? Also, why can't a suspicious e-mail be forwarded to a reporting agency without opening it and exposing my computer and possibly my contact list to the bad guys?

Ability to block based on Top-Level Domain and IP address / range would kill off so much of the junk.
At the moment, I'm copping rubbish from a particularly persistent one who sends his junk from a .xyz address (three of four, which he rotate between), and via OVH in Canada.
If I could block .xyz as a top-level domain (along with .club, .info, and the various others that spammers love), and also block IP address in the 54.38 and 54.39 ranges, I'd be rid of him.
Ditto with the plank who keeps sending me counterfeit Ray-Ban, Ugg, Fitflop, and Christian Loboutin e-mails - ban tencent.com IP ranges, .club and .info TLDs, and he's gone.
Seems such an easy bit of functionality to implement, yet Microsoft don't want to know.
"Forward as attachment" would also be helpful in reporting spam.
I too have done the exact same thing without results. The service would be great...if it worked...which it does not seem to. Have entered hundreds of phrases, words, in the body of email, in the sender address of the email, in the subject of the email and the same entries keep showing up again and again. I am at the point of switching to another operating system...outside Microsoft. It does not work. Why not fix it?????
