I used to have an MSN email account, now it's saying it doesn't exist! What happened to it?

I had this same thing happen to me.
My email address was ******@msn.com where is it? My email address I always use that was on the same original msn paid account is ******@msn.com I use that all the time as my main email, even though i have accessed it through hotmail for years.

I searched for the email address you posted but was not able to find any result from our database. Please confirm if this is the correct email address. If it's not, kindly provide us the correct one. If it's the right address, please be informed that the account no longer exists and can now be used for signing up as a new account. Hence, as mentioned by my colleagure all the information stored in it before are no longer recoverable.

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forums. I'm glad to assist you with your issue on your MSN email account.
When was the last time you accessed your account? If it is more than 1 year, it is possible that it was marked as inactive.
Please be informed that Microsoft accounts become inactive if you don't sign in for more than 365 days or within the first 10 days after signing up for an account. After an account becomes inactive, all messages, folders, and contacts are deleted. Incoming messages will be sent back to the sender as undeliverable.
Kindly provide the affected email address here so we can investigate your account.
Note: Please make sure that your email address is in the correct format so our system can mask your email address to prevent others from seeing your email address.
