MSN email account doesn't exist??

I used to have an MSN email account, now it's saying it doesn't exist! What happened to it?

    If you log in with the exact same @msn.com address and password, you should still see the same mailbox. The user interface may be different, but the same mail should be there.

    Outlook.com is there, but it doesn't display my msn.com emails, which I was receiving daily until a couple of weeks or so ago when I signed in under msn.com. They've just disappeared.  When I log into msn.com now, outlook.com comes up. It still provides news and other information about the world, but when I click on mail, it asks me to sign up with Outlook, which I've already done. I would have thought that if msn.com has been transferred to outlook.com, that the former emails would have transferred over.

    I've had access to my msn.com email messages for several years, including just about three weeks ago. 

    Where has it gone?

    When was the last time you logged into your account with a browser?  Accounts are marked as inactive and the data deleted if you do not sign into them at least once per year, and unless you made the back up that Microsoft recommended when you signed up for the email address, the data is gone because, like you, the online servers are not backed up
