Hotmail Virus sending me spam from my own email

I seem to have a Virus in my email that is sending me spam emails from my own email address.

I use a chrome book so it doesn't have anti virus to sweep with.

I can't block the emails as they are from myself and hotmail says i am in my own contacts.  I have changed my email password and there are no forwarding addresses but it is still happening.

What should I do?

    Changing your password is pointless because no one is using your account to send the messages. Create a rule that uses "Sender contain" and "Recipient contains" and specify your own address as the string its checking.

    I don't have the options "Sender contain" or "Recipient contain". However I do have a similar "From" limitation to which I added my email address but unfortunately that does not stop the messages.

    We are having the same problem with our outlook,  we keep getting messages from our email address that are clearly spam and junk but we cannot block them because they are coming rom our address.  We have tried changing our password but it doesn't seem to have worked.

    We need help.

    Of course not, because it's not your account sending the junk. Since the messages are being filed in the Junk folder, everything's working as designed. Just ignore the Junk folder. Messages get cleaned out automatically after 10 days.

    This exactly what happens to me.

    What is strange is that the Hotmail Spam Filter knows it is junk and sends it to the Junk Folder.

    I have heard nothing from Microsoft or Outlook as to how this can be prevented.

    I do not know if this is a Flaw in the Hotmail/Outlook Email system that allows this 'Porn Like' Headings to be sent with what I guess is a very dangerous link in the email?

    As far as I can see this has been happening for years and Outllok/Hotmail have no answer. Changing passwords etc does not help
