i want to remove the ad sidebar in windows outlook email

I, have also had hot Hotmail for about 15 years.  I really dislike Outlook.  I have finally gotten use to it, but not the sidebar ads.  I can't view my email in it's entirety.  It's extremely frustrating.  I tried to look up a contact email to complain to Microsoft, but I could only find self help questions.  If anyone knows how to file a complaint, I'd like to file one or join someone's group.  I will have to change my email if this isn't removed or at least reduced soon.

How do we complain to Microsoft?  Does anyone from Microsoft ever bother to look at these MS Commmunity messages?

I hate the sidebar - it takes up a quarter of the already small screen on my netbook.

Another thing I hate - yes, I'll put it on a different thread - is not being able to see a simple, straightforward list of my Contacts addresses for adding recipients to emails I'm sending. Instead of that it's name, photo, address all taking up 5 or 6 times as much space as Live/Hotmail list.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I totally agree with all the post I have read, I hate this whole Outlook thing.  Hotmail was just fine.  I do have other email accounts and will probably choose 1 of those as my primary now even though this has been for about 15 years.

Absolutely useless for simple mailing like mine.

Typical modern change for changes sake.

If it ain't broke, don't mend it.

Original Hotmail was fine - why the need to change it?

I loathe the sidebar ads. particularly.

If I want something I'll look for it myself.

Think it's simpler just to change to another mailing provider.
