    Funny answer

All we are asking is to have the facility to remove completely (should we wish so) the side advert bar that takes up some of the screen

In MY CHOICES section of the new system - it gives you chance to remove them - but then as soon as you do something active in your OUTLOOK emails , it comes back????????????????????

Ive just seen on You Tube how you can Block Ad pop ups and Block Side Advert bar in the section called MY CHOICES on the new 2013 Outlook email system.

It works ---- until the next time you actually click on anything at all in your email page then it reverts to adding the adverts back on the side.

Really stupid - even the Micrsoft help section in MY CHOICES doesnt work.

Dont worry everyone - there is a chinese chap who states in the telegraph on sunday that he is ready to dominate Europe with his company Lenovo  and wants to be bigger then APPLE.

He may give us a somethig we all want

After many emails between the moderators and me, the sidebar was finally removed from my email.  I had posted my complaint on different forums hoping that someone would finally help me.

I have a paid account (Hotmail Plus) and didn't think I should have to put up with the sidebar, since it is a way of advertising.

A moderator asked me to privately send a "screen shot" of what I saw on my computer screen.  It took a while to figure out how to do this, but I did it.

About a week later, my sidebar disappeared!  Yippee!!

In the meantime, before my sidebar was removed, I figured out that I could double click on the message in my inbox preview pane and get a full screen.  However, it just took more time to do this.  Or, I clicked on the little arrow pointing left at the top of the email message and that worked too.

Hopefully, Microsoft will see the error of their ways and remove this sidebar for everyone, or people will vote with their clicks and get rid of the new Outlook.
