Outlook is complete and utter garbage. Since the day they changed from Hotmail to Outlook all I get all day long is "We can't connect to Outlook at the moment. Please try again later." Then a minute later it works, then it doesn't, then it does.

This is untested junk and the Moderators here are utterly hopeless and will never provide a solution, as they won't admit the software is junk!

My advice, use Windows Live Mail - it's pretty much like the old Hotmail. Never use Outlook again, it's a disgrace.

It's not possible to go back to Windows Live Mail unfortunately, unless anyone can advise otherwise?

It does seem like it hasn't been tested - sooo frustrating. All over the forums people are complaining about outlook, and as yet there doesn't appear to have been any improvement, which is why I've given up. I gave them a chance to fix/improve it but there is only so long I can put up with it.

I'm very unhappy with the new outlook. I constantly get the message 'we can't connect.....' and also other issues like not displaying all my emails properly, and messages from senders that have been in my safe list for years suddenly going to my junk mail. I've marked them as safe numerous times and the same ones still get delivered to my junk - very annoying. I think worst of all though is the bland and ugly interface - I couldn't believe how rubbish it was when i first saw it and thought it must be some beta version or something. Anyway, I've finally given up and have started the laborious process of migrating everything to gmail, where I can have a lovely' ocean' theme and the choice of many others!' Very disappointing Microsoft - i have had my hotmail address for around 15 years and really didn't want to have to migrate to another address.

I have had this problem with this outlook, I had Hotmail and went to trial the new outlook and it was doing it then so I went back to Hotmail no problems, not until I was forced to use outlook , it odes it on all three of my computers which all load and have no problems with any other webpages , it can also cause the webpage to have to be recovered , it causes a problem when loading for the first time , it will randomly give the " we can't connect to outlook at the moment .Please try again later" at any point it will delete the wrong emails at times pages will jump to full view without selecting , I will sometimes delete all emails and the next time I log into out look or even change a folder they will reappear. Maintenance , I don't think so , it has been going on since day one and gets worse it will happen everyday, IE10 must contribute to this failing, I have tried all the things , clearing the cash and Optimizing the IE , these are not rocket science solutions are will not repair the failings outlook combined with IE10 , if MSoft want people to continue using their latest breed of communications they need to work properly , I wont get into the replacement of messenger with Skype, what we need is solutions and not excuses , I like others will not put up with this daily hassle of a useless system that replaced a user friendly interface, with the windows childrens edition that would look better on a childrens toy "V tech " so how about the best solution and replacing outlook with "Hotmail" and fixing the frailties  of an attempt to commit communication suicide.
