This is becoming beyond annoying. How is it that when you sign into your email for some reason you don't have access to your inbox?! My daughter missed turning in her essay for school because she couldn't access her inbox to turn it in. You guys ask to enter codes and when we do they don't work then when they finally do work I keep getting sent back to the same account page when all I want is access to my email. Where is my inbox? Where are all my emails? I sign in from the same computer i created the email so why would a computer be an issue. This is getting ridiculous. Why do we have to enter all of this "security" information for? My email has not been hacked! What do I need to do to stop having to enter dumb codes and how do I sign in to my email and actually get my inbox on the screen? Please let me know if that is not possible. I dont want to deal with anymore security **** I just want to check my email.

    Hi Sylvia,

I understand your frustration with regards to being unable to access your emails. Let me assist you with your concern.

Please be informed that Policy bar is a prompt/interrupt that detects customers that have not verified any  security proofs (i.e. alternate email address and/or mobile phone) in the account within the last 6 months. The interrupt is experienced upon sign in.

Customers will be given an option to skip this process for 7 days but if customer failed to verify the account after this period, they will be locked out from accessing  the account. The customer is required to comply and verify it by updating the  security information on the account. For more information why do you need to add security information, you may visit this **link**.

The nature of your issue may contain personal or sensitive information of your account that can't be  discussed in the forum, I suggest that this be addressed through a secured  environment for your privacy and ease of access to our moderator's reply. Please go to this **link** to get help on your issue.

    Your patience is highly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I'm at my wits end with Hotmail. So often i get locked into my account details (where I had no intention of going) and have no way to access my inbox despite the verification having been done that it is my account. It does not clear up sometimes for a day or two. Please help its very frustrating to waste so much of time on one email address.

Why can't hotmail be more user-friendly and simply have an access point, (as Gmail does) from the account page, so that once the account is verified we can go straight to our mail. Please suggest it to them. Thanks.:)
