I Can't Access My Hotmail Inbox

I had trouble signing into my Microsoft account.  Changed password successfully.  Then on my iPhone & ipad I can't access my emails via hotmail, because it says password or user name incorrect?? Please help!!! Very fustrating

I am having the same problem as EVERYONE else here, for months now I have been having terrible trouble accessing my emails because I get bounced directly to the account management page (or security code verification) with no link or anything to take me to my emails.

I HAVE PERFORMED THE SECURITY CHECK MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS AND STILL IT DECIDES IT WON'T LET ME ACCESS MY EMAILS!!!!

I use the same PC, the same browser and the same IP. This problem obviously comes from a badly implemented and programmed system - NOT FROM USER INCOMPETENCE!!!!

When are MICROSOFT going to fix this problem?!?! This thread is already SIX months old and NOTHING has been fixed!!!!!!

What is worse is I have two hotmail accounts and each one references the other to send security codes to - this was never advised against when I declared these addresses. The first problem with that is when I have to do the security check I have to completely LOG-OUT of one account to get the code for the other and that cancels the code process and then you must send a new code...

But MORE importantly as is happening AGAIN now I am locked out of BOTH my accounts... so what on earth am I supposed to do?!!

I NEED TO ACCESS MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT ******@hotmail.fr TODAY!!!!

I can't see my inbox, but was forced to go through security code verification and then could only access profile, etc. but still not my inbox.  I finally had to open a different browser to see my account, very frustrating.  Now I have to have two browsers if I want to see it, since the browser it does open is worse.  Please fix!!!

Same problem as everyone else - hotmail, but no other email I use, is demanding personal identifying information, and then even when I eneter it I can't access my inbox. What the f? I've read through the info on this page, there's still no answer that makes clear sense, and that's unacceptable. Deleting this hotmail account as soon as I can notify my contacts not to use the hotmail account any more.

Account related issues are usually dealt in such secure manner especially now. Microsoft have made the process to recover an account much more stringent and only the original owner of the account will be able to access his/her account if they provide the details when they fill the form. The code that you have received will help you recover your account.
