I Can't Access My Hotmail Inbox

When I sign into my account I cannot see my inbox.

I get the Microsoft account page containing the Overview, Notifications etc, but cannot see any way to access my emails.

    Hotmail disappeared three years ago, but you can still use your @hotmail.com address. Is that what you're using to log in?

    If I just read that right, because Hotmail automatically migrated my emails to Outlook, and my Outlook inbox is completely empty, I have lost all my emails?  The emails were not crucial to my life, but some of them were from people who have since passed on, and I liked reading old emails to remember them by.  Any human being should know that auto-deleting someone's emails is not right.  That seems like a really bad public relations decision.

    Your Hotmail/Outlook.com Inbox is where it has always been: at http://www.hotmail.com/, http://www.outlook.com/, or http://mail.live.com/ (these are all the same web site).

    I just want to know how to find my inbox. It asks me to send me a security code to my account but I cannot find my inbox, where is it? The inbox?
