How do I set my time zone in outlook.com?

I used Hotmail for years, and still have Windows Live Mail on my laptop.  Tonight I logged into outlook.com with my hotmail account and saw that the time is out by one hour.  Saskatchewan does not have daylight savings time.  How do I correct the time in outlook.com?

Note: I am running Windows 7 and my Windows clock at the bottom right of the task bar is correct.

Hi,

I am happy to help you with your concern. I understand that you want to change the Timezone of your account.

Usually, the time zone is automatically set after you have created your account and added your country detail. For some isolated cases you will need to change it manually to correct the time and date on the received emails.

  1. Go to this link: https://account.live.com
  2. Under "Overview", click Edit personal info.
  3. Under "Personal info", click the down arrow under the "Time zone" and then choose your preferred time zone.

If you have further clarifications, feel free to post back anytime.

Thanks!

So... it's been a month and a half since the reply post that this is recognized and going to be fixed in the next update. I had a message today that I had to refresh my browser window with outlook.com because there had been an update to outlook.com.

Great! It's fixed! Tried to set the time zone to Saskatchewan and... no joy :(

It's less than two months before daylight savings time cuts in again and then the problem will 'disappear' for six months and then re-appear. I would expect the problem to be rectified before November 2nd so that I can be assured that it is fixed going forward so that I can adjust the dozen accounts I help people out with to the right time zone and no that I'm done needing to kludge the time zone forever more.

Surely you must have some idea as to when the 'update' would take place to fix this prior to November 2nd so we can test that it is fixed? Please?!?
