Still getting emails from blocked sender

I keep getting spam emails from the same senders even though I've already blocked their domains, as well as all of the other email addresses/domains that were found in the message sources. 

  • WHY am I still receiving messages from domains that are blocked??
  • Why is there no option to simply block a sender's I.P. address?

All of the spam I receive comes from the same 3 or 4 I.P. addresses, but they have tons of domains at their disposal to spam people with.

I don't want to resort to creating a new 'rule' every time these idiots come up with a new domain to send their spam from. So before you suggest that I create a new rule for each and every one of these email addresses, my response to that is NO. I shouldn't have to. Aside from the fact that doing such a thing would be far too time-consuming, when I block someone, I expect my email provider to perform that function properly and without fail.

    And with my returning regards. I use Windows 7 and have little to no problems navigating this site.  If you have problems with Chrome or other problems related to Windows 10 I believe you will find your search for answers better served by taking these paths:

    • Search from Windows 10 forums
    • Search from Internet Explorer forums
    • Search from Answers or outside search for reports of trouble with the March updates (the reason being that this updating cycle has been atypical with apparently no February updates for some things and being caught up for March.
    • Use all of these to research your symptoms and possibly develop a diagnosis.

    To rebut the claim that dropping support for XP and 8.0 were 'mistakes', please note that XP was released in 2001 and the base Internet Explorer for SP1 I believe was IE 6, which was more of less driven off the internet because it was left like Swiss cheese with the inadequacies and safety problems inherent. I stil can find POS (point of sale) terminals and businesses still using XP, and I understand that some government agencies MAY still be using it in various applications, although some of that support would cost $$$. And 8.0 was dropped and it was required to upgrade to 8.1 maybe similar reasons, or maybe to give users a start menu back, not my forte as I didn't think a lot of 8, found Vista awkward and 7 was the perfect balance between XP and Vista in my opinion.

    But I don't like 10, spam is a Monte Python thing and at the rate my 50ish friends are expiring and given my own health status I wouldn't expect to see 2025 so it's moot to me. My computers will possibly be too old to run well but I still bet my two 1983 Trinitron TV sets will outlive me. C'est la vie, C'est la bon.
