Still getting emails from blocked sender

I keep getting spam emails from the same senders even though I've already blocked their domains, as well as all of the other email addresses/domains that were found in the message sources.

  • WHY am I still receiving messages from domains that are blocked??
  • Why is there no option to simply block a sender's I.P. address?

All of the spam I receive comes from the same 3 or 4 I.P. addresses, but they have tons of domains at their disposal to spam people with.

I don't want to resort to creating a new 'rule' every time these idiots come up with a new domain to send their spam from. So before you suggest that I create a new rule for each and every one of these email addresses, my response to that is NO. I shouldn't have to. Aside from the fact that doing such a thing would be far too time-consuming, when I block someone, I expect my email provider to perform that function properly and without fail.

If you are seeing email in your Inbox that appears to come from an address you've put into the Blocked Senders list, then the address you added to the list isn't matching the address in the message.

If you have the junk filter set to exclusive, no message from any address not in your Contacts or your Safe Senders list should be able to make it to your Inbox. They should be appearing in your Junk/Junk E-mail folder. Are you saying that the messages are arriving in your Inbox?

I have the same problem. Can you please help?

    I've also tried this:

    • On your inbox, click the gear icon and selectMore mail settings on the drop down list.
    • Under Preventing junk email, click Filters and reporting.
    • Under Choose a junk e-mail filter, choose Exclusive and then click Save.

In between 2013 when the message you quoted was written and about a year ago, "More mail settings" became the word "Options".

I've completed this step and I am still receiving blocked emails. What can be done to stop this?
