Outlook.com Font keeps changing

I am using Outlook.com on Windows 7 (SP1) and IE10 (with latest update.)

Language is set to English UK.

The font keeps changing when I send an email.

No matter what font and size I use this problem occurs.

I type an email and it looks fine and then I send it.

However, when I see it in the sent folder, the font on some lines or paragraphs has changed - normally to a smaller size.

If I paste anything from a Word Document, the problem is even worse.

I have sent myself emails from Outlook.com using another account and email client to receive them and the emails look terrible and very unprofessional.

I have tried every solution suggested on the internet clear IE temporary files etc. uninstall Silverlight - but to no avail.

I have used Google Chrome browser - same problem.

Until I can resolve this, I am using eM Client software to send and received my outlook.com emails.

Is anyone aware of this problem please and any potential solutions.

Thank you.

I guess this is Microsoft's endorsement of Gmail. Fine, I'll go back to Gmail.

Still no fix as of 3/4/15?????

Let's all email Chris Jones, VP of outlook.com.

I just posted separately about this at:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook\_com/forum/oemail-osend/font-size-in-outgoing-email-is-inconsistent/caa57dd6-ad35-45f7-ae0f-082cba9a3cce?tm=1434500005484

It's now June 16, 2015 and the problem remains unresolved. Even the spacing above in this message should only be a single blank line, but it looks like double or two-and-a-half. (I've just edited it manually -- but why should I have to do that? A single 'Return' should create one new line.)

This all makes outlook.com seem half-baked.

I'm starting to think that like others here I'll have to return to my former webmail client.

I am having this problem (and also posted on a related thread) except that the font changes are not visible when I am composing an email - or even when viewing the email in my 'sent' folder.  It is only when the recipient views the messages that random changes in font size are visible.  Also, sometimes some of the message is in grey even though in my settings the colour is set to black.  Any idea why this is happening?  It is very frustrating since it gives the impression to the recipient that I am emphasising random words by increasing their size - and I don't even know which ones because when I am composing the message it all looks a uniform size.

I am using Safari 6.2 on a Mac btw.

I've reported this problem in at least one other thread.  I, too, experience differences in shading of characters.  I'm surprised, though, that you don't see these (and the other problems -- font/font size variations, multiple blank lines between paragraphs, etc.) in the 'sent' versions of your emails.

Noting how long ago these issues were reported in this thread and the typical response of the outlook.com 'team,' my recent decision to cut my use of outlook.com down to the bare minimum seems even wiser than I had thought.  There is no discernible determination to fix problems.  It appears that Microsoft considers it sufficient to 'act interested' and do nothing.

Even its 'interest' amounts to nothing more than one or at most two 'standard' replies, after which the matter is simply dropped.
