Outlook.com Font keeps changing

I am using Outlook.com on Windows 7 (SP1) and IE10 (with latest update.)

Language is set to English UK.

The font keeps changing when I send an email.

No matter what font and size I use this problem occurs.

I type an email and it looks fine and then I send it.

However, when I see it in the sent folder, the font on some lines or paragraphs has changed - normally to a smaller size.

If I paste anything from a Word Document, the problem is even worse.

I have sent myself emails from Outlook.com using another account and email client to receive them and the emails look terrible and very unprofessional.

I have tried every solution suggested on the internet clear IE temporary files etc. uninstall Silverlight - but to no avail.

I have used Google Chrome browser - same problem.

Until I can resolve this, I am using eM Client software to send and received my outlook.com emails.

Is anyone aware of this problem please and any potential solutions.

Thank you.

Just spent 3 months at my mother-in-law's using her desktop computer, and Firefox as my browser and no problems. Returned home, still using Firefox, and I'm having the issue if the font changing mid sentence. Does this info help anyone to perhaps figure out the problem?

I switched to Outlook just recently because of Yahoo problems, but this is driving me crazy.

Sorry, 'I'm having the issue of the font'

And I am using a desktop here at home.

Wow.  Almost a year since the original post and this error still isn't fixed.  I was excited about upgrading my life by using Outlook since it has better spam filtering than Yahoo or Gmail and the ability to send from multiple accounts.  The first week I was thrilled at how much easier it was to manage my emails.  Then someone asked me why I used so many fonts in my emails.  I then checked my sent folders and saw how awful they looked.  It always looked fine as I was typing.  I had been recommending to everyone else in my programming class that they also switch to Outlook because of how convenient it seemed to manage emails.  But the font bug is a deal breaker.  I've always been one of the few among my peers to stand behind Microsoft products, but I just can't anymore.  The worst part is the support in this thread.  It doesn't happen to any of us in any other email client.  It's all Outlook.  Not the users.  I don't understand why a team isn't dedicated to this problem until it's fixed.  Microsoft must be losing thousands of users by the day that have given up on them after finding nothing but grief posted online.  I'm over Outlook.

    Thanks

I have given in and am using desktop client WLM with imap.

If Microsoft can't get this right after all this time Outlook.com is not with bothering with.

    It really is a shame
