I am using Outlook.com on Windows 7 (SP1) and IE10 (with latest update.)
Language is set to English UK.
The font keeps changing when I send an email.
No matter what font and size I use this problem occurs.
I type an email and it looks fine and then I send it.
However, when I see it in the sent folder, the font on some lines or paragraphs has changed - normally to a smaller size.
If I paste anything from a Word Document, the problem is even worse.
I have sent myself emails from Outlook.com using another account and email client to receive them and the emails look terrible and very unprofessional.
I have tried every solution suggested on the internet clear IE temporary files etc. uninstall Silverlight - but to no avail.
I have used Google Chrome browser - same problem.
Until I can resolve this, I am using eM Client software to send and received my outlook.com emails.
Is anyone aware of this problem please and any potential solutions.

Actually for some reason the random font size changes seem to have stopped now; at least I have had none reported for a while . (In my case they weren't apparent during composition, and were only visible to the recipient)
In the bad ole days, SOUTH AFRICA used to have a sign on some park benches stating "If you have nothing to do, DO NOT DO IT HERE!" This - obviously - is not the case with the so-called techies at MSN! They want to interfere with everything, even when W7 was so much better than the junk called W10! THE TECHIES HAVE ABSOLUTELY GOT TO JIMMY EVERYTHING UP FOR WHAT IS PERFECTLY SATISFACTORY!!
CAN'T WE JUST DUMP THJIS CLOWNS?? All this is about the wunnaful change in email fonts. MADDENING!!

There were suggestions here that this problem was resolved with the upgrade to the new Outlook Mail. I'm here to tell you it is not. The font keeps changing to the default in the middle of my typing an email. Sometimes even in the middle of a word! It frequently happens when I backspace to correct a mistake. I have had the upgrade (snort) for several days now, and it at first seemed fine, but today it's as bad as ever been. I have reset the font and size I wanted in Options, but I have to manually change it while typing the email. I will try the suggestion of signing out then see what happens when I sign back in.
Overall, I'm unhappy with this upgrade. The Calendar is really screwy.
I remember reading that 'to ensure synching' - after an upgrade - you should sign out of your account(s) then back in again. Don't know if this is relevant but perhaps worth a try if not already attempted.
Hopefully it's a true "upgrade" and not just a gratuitous change. And as it's going on I know at least we cannot share calendars. My husband left for his doctor's appointment the other day and I asked him where he was going... "It's on the calendar", he said. Things he adds to his calendar aren't showing up on my calendar, but he can see what I add. Frustrating. And I'm still dealing with the iOS "upgrade" to my phone...
