When I attempt to login to Outlook, the following is displayed:

"Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."

I have been unable to login for several days now. I have tried to login on many different computers and browsers. Please advise.

Hi I have the same issue, changed my password twice and have logged in from multiple computers and mobile devices - very important I have access to my hotmail account immediately. My email address should be available under private view… I find it very disconcerting that I have not been able to simply pick up the phone and speak to someone about this - when you are dealing with email accounts customer service should be more readily available...

By the way, this still happens on a regular basis for me.  I can switch browsers, and it will work for a while, then eventually it will have the same problem.

I think this stems from having my account signed up to multiple things.  SPLA volume licensing, MSDN, Bing, etc...  One of the cookies isn't compatible with the rest, and when it gets stuck, it always ends at login.live.com with this message:

    I installed WINDOWS 10 FROM WIMDOWS 7 SUCCESSFULLY ON AUGUST 1, 2

The NEXT DAY I WAS UNABLE TO SIGN IN. MY NEW PASSWORD WAS NOT EXCEPTED.

NOR WAS THE ORIGINAL PASSWORD EXCEPTED.

NOTE: I AM NOW USING WINDOWS 8

I WENT TO ACCOUNT.LIVE on MY WINDOWS 8 LAPTOP. AS A RESULT MICROSOFT ISSUESD THE NEW PASSWORD TO THE WINDOWS 7.

PROBLEM: I NEED THE RESET PASSWORD FOR WINDOWS 10

NOTE: I have two laptops. I CAN NOW ONLY USE HP WINDOWS 8.

Did you try your own recommendation: the same "Something went wrong...appears!" It was blocked upon commenting to Microsoft with their new format for emails which was non functional!"  Retaliation for commenting and to disabled...in my case..whom are being helped...

PS I already contracted the FCC, FBI ...since Microsoft insisted on a phone number...and there would be no reason to CALL since this is an email account...

PSS Is it possible that Microsoft Outlook has been compromised..but wouldn't Microsoft be aware? Seems that way since all of a sudden when they demand a phone which is not legal: the account is down...and it was changed...or the format was being tampered with...but certainly was not improved..but not properly functioning?

Same thing: yet this is the email as a secondary notification that Microsoft requires...so when they proclaim "you have to get a CODE" there will be no other email to forward Microsoft outlooks required CODE?

And all while Microsoft allegedly was coming up with a new email forward which was not functioning.. SO upon making a comment--no account!  Is that retaliation?  Also, I give my time to help mentally challenged: so now their "free accounts" are blocked too.  While I, or we  appreciate the "non paying: emails...is everyone being treated the same?  I refer to the free accounts, then Microsoft making changes that do not function and when one does comment blatantly--the accounts are being denied...because of true factual feedback.  Got news for you..that is lst AMEND Rights in the USA...for US Citizens..law abiding too!  How convenient: check the box for feedback--but the account is "something went wrong etc" so where will the responses be forwarded.?  PARADOX controlled by Microsoft Outlook employees: where offshored, on foreign soil foreigners or whom?
