When I attempt to login to Outlook, the following is displayed: 

"Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."

I have been unable to login for several days now. I have tried to login on many different computers and browsers. Please advise.

    Much easier just get GMAIL

    THAT IS helpful.

    I went to Opera and use Chrome as a back up.

    My IE 11 is toast,now.I messed with the registry. MY BAD!!!!!!!

    I clean cookies with CCleaner.

    Yes, this is that helped me as well. In my case, I could not open it inside Google Chrome only. So this is what I did:

    1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar, then select Settings.
    2. Scroll Down and Click Show advanced settings.
    3. In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.
    4. Scroll down to the "Pop-ups" section, click Manage exceptions....

    Then enable all cookies in relation with Microsoft and Outlook.

    It is your cookies that are outdated, corrupted, or incorrect. I just updated to Windows 10 and for whatever reason, had to reset my live, hotmail, and Outlook passwords. After doing this, I had the "Something went wrong" message anytime I clicked a page from Microsoft of any kind such as answers, support, Microsoft, etc. On some I could see the pages for answers.microsoft, but when I tried to login, I never got the chance. Just something went wrong again. Now the only way the site can get my login information if I do not provide it to the page is to refer to cookies.

    And in this case, you do not get to login manually, cookies are used and if present, that is all that is used. I opened up the Options for Firefox, Privacy Tab, and clicked "Clear recent history". I had a search box so I could select cookies I want. I entered Microsoft into the box, thus revealing all of the Microsoft cookies and there were a LOT of them, selected them all, deleted them, and am now able to view these pages again. Hope this helps.

    Here we are 3 or 4 years on & I find myself with this very same message & problem !!

    Its now had me locked out of outlook / my hotmail a/c for around 2 weeks i think.

    can anybody give me a genuine real solution thats reasonably simple for a not so tech savvy senior please ?
