I want to switch back to the original live hotmail...I don`t like the new setup of outlook.com

I somehow just wanted to see the new outlook.com but ended up losing my old hotmail look and feel.  Not able to log in as it told me my account didnt exist. I am not pleased with the look of the new mail and dont find it handierso would like to revert to original....please tell me how to!

Hello Everyone,

I can understand that you all want to switch back to the Hotmail interface after it has been automatically upgraded to Outlook. However, just like what the previous moderators have said, the option to switch back to Hotmail is no longer available once your account has been automatically upgraded. All Hotmail users will eventually be upgraded to Outlook.com and users who were upgraded automatically were sent notification messages concerning the upcoming upgrade.

In addition to that, I would like to inform you that Microsoft is upgrading its systems in order to serve everyone better. The new Outlook.com UI is the upgrade for the email system and it has a similar user interface with Windows 8. This has been done by Microsoft in order to cope up with the neverending changes and upgrades in the cyberworld.

We also appreciate all of the feedback that has been provided in this thread. If you want to submit a feedback for things that needs to be improved in the new Outlook.com, kindly refer to Denise_T.'s post here for the link to our feedback page.

    THANK YOU!   I have now signed this petition and I sure hope EVERY OTHER DISATISFIED OUTLOOK USER will go to the link and also sign.  WE WANT OUR HOTMAIL BACK!

    I sure hope this petition will do some good and that MSN will listen to the masses that I'll bet are going to be signing it!

    Microsoft - I am 70 years old.

    This does not work. Hotmail worked.

    Please bring Hotmail back, I haven't been able to use my email properly for a week.

    I have been a customer of yours 15 years since I first got a computer. Please bring Hotmail back.

    OUTLOOK is 100,000,000% GARBAGE!     It keeps putting messages that ARE NOT JUNK from a SAFE SENDER into the Junk Box, then when I say it IS NOT JUNK and go to my INBOX where it SHOULD HAVE MOVED IT TOO, it is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!   Then I go and recheck the JUNK folder and IT IS NOT THERE EITHER.   So then I get a message and THIS IS CONSTANTLY HAPPENING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, that Outlook, the piece of GARBAGE it is, tells me it COULD NOT COMPLETE THE TASK and to check for any service issues, I CHECK and THERE ARE NO ISSUES!   And now I have lost a message that could have been extremely important or critical!   Also why is it every time I empty my JUNK folder I have to go back and click on the JUNK link?   If I try and empty the JUNK FOLDER on any page but the first one, I get that same dadburned error message EVERY SINGLE TIME.  I can only EMPTY the JUNK FOLDER from the first page and only if the FIRST MESSAGE is visible.    NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

    GET RID OF OUTLOOK IT DOES NOT WORK, IT HAS NEVER WORKED RIGHT AND IT WILL NEVER WORK CORRECTLY!

    Get rid of it and revert back to Hotmail!

    I NEVER had these issues with Hotmail at all!  But Outlook has been more problematic than any other e-mail client I have ever used.

    I don't give a rat's bum about what MSN says they can't go back to Hotmail, there IS ALWAYS a way to go back and anyone that says it isn't is a downright LIAR!

    I am about to close every MSN e-mail account I have over this NO GOOD %#&**#$#!(&%$&^ OUTLOOK garbage because IT DOES NOT WORK!

    Get over it MSN and CHANGE IT BACK!   That WOULD BE the MOST INTELLIGENT thing to do here.

    Just too many problems and issues on a constant basis with Outlook!!!!!!!   And I am really getting FED UP with all these issues that are CONSTANTLY PLAGUING OUTLOOK and NOT BEING FIXED!   This has been going on for far too long, DITCH THE darn thing and GO BACK TO HOTMAIL!

    When are you going to COMPREHEND NO ONE WANTS ANY PART OF OUTLOOK because of these dadburned issues???
