I want to switch back to the original live hotmail...I don`t like the new setup of outlook.com

I somehow just wanted to see the new outlook.com but ended up losing my old hotmail look and feel.  Not able to log in as it told me my account didnt exist. I am not pleased with the look of the new mail and dont find it handierso would like to revert to original....please tell me how to!

Hello Everyone,

I can understand that you all want to switch back to the Hotmail interface after it has been automatically upgraded to Outlook. However, just like what the previous moderators have said, the option to switch back to Hotmail is no longer available once your account has been automatically upgraded. All Hotmail users will eventually be upgraded to Outlook.com and users who were upgraded automatically were sent notification messages concerning the upcoming upgrade.

In addition to that, I would like to inform you that Microsoft is upgrading its systems in order to serve everyone better. The new Outlook.com UI is the upgrade for the email system and it has a similar user interface with Windows 8. This has been done by Microsoft in order to cope up with the neverending changes and upgrades in the cyberworld.

We also appreciate all of the feedback that has been provided in this thread. If you want to submit a feedback for things that needs to be improved in the new Outlook.com, kindly refer to Denise_T.'s post here for the link to our feedback page.

    1. There was a way to switch back BUT they took that off so now were stuck with this horrible email setup. I will tell you what is making me really upset and that all the people I email to daily ask me to please bcc so others cant see their email address, I cant do that anymore because even if you hit bcc  EVERYONES EMAIL IS LISTED, that's a bad feature, I have no idea why they took that off especially with the spam situation. this setup seems like it was layed out by someone who NEVER uses email so they really have no idea BUT for those of us that use email ALOT are just hating it and seeking to find other places to sugn up with since we have told them what we want and need and WE don't seem to mean a thing to them, they just don't care weather we like the email or not. Hotmail and all it's recent improvement was the perfect setup so they just needed to take it away from all of us because maybe it's cheaper to run, or someone thinks it's GOOD who matters because we sure don't matter. after all were just the users.

    How much money and time will they lose if they dont? 3 weeks since outlook has delivered all my emails other accounts with other companies are not failing. How long do you think that the loyal will put up with this before abanding MS horsepucky. Even recent updates to IE and defender are failing. Are you trying to drop stock prices for a buy back? Or is it "yes men" syndrom? Even Ford eventually let the Edsel die. Take the hint. Stop telling what we need and give us what we want!
