I want to switch back to the original live hotmail...I don`t like the new setup of outlook.com

 Totally AGREE with you. And now they have even REMOVED the GEAR ICON!

 I have not been able to read/send or do anything within my accounts since they started this changeover supposedly at MIDNIGHT on SEPT. 5, 2012, I got in ONCE for all of about 5-10 minutes, composed a message, added attachments {was the old look by the way}, then it reverted back to the C R A P again, lost everything I had composed, and once again, did nothing but give me the hourglass spinner, and lock up my browser, requiring me to do a CTRL-ALT-DEL, got to processes, locate iexplore and END NOW.

Then they want me to send an error report?

That''s an f'n joke right there, what good are these error reports, I've sent them so many times ON THE SAME SOFTWARE for well over 3-4 years and I have YET to see any fixes. What a load of manure sending error reports are, so now I don't even bother any longer, nothing ever gets fixed, but things keep getting WORSE.

I think it's time WE ALL DID THIS ans that is bring a class action lawsuit against Microsoft, despite their dadburn TOS/Agreement or what have you, they are ruining things for far too many with their incessant, NON-WORKING changes that are creating more problems than I've ever had in all the years I've had my hotmail accounts, and I've had them for a VERY, VERY LONG TIME, so this is COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

And as far as feedback, that's a waste of time too.

There is no real support for end users, no e-mail contacts, no phone contact, UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY OUT THE NOSE PERHAPS then you MIGHT get some kind of support, but that's ridiculous to have to PAY FOR SUPPORT for THEIR DADDURNED BLUNDERS, ERRORS and MISTAKES that end users HAVE NO CONTROL OVER!

Since you don't want to use the Outlook user interface, please follow the steps below on how to switch back to Hotmail user interface:

 

1. On your Outlook inbox, click the gear icon beside your Profile name.
2. Click Switch back to Hotmail.
3. A pop-up screen will ask you to Send Feedback or Skip feedback. You can choose any between the two before you can switch back automatically to Hotmail user interface.

Not that option IS NOT available as of 9/6/2012, the idiots have removed it and now I can not even access my e-mail to read it.  I can log in fine, and the light blue text on white is utterly asanine as I have vision issues and need BLACK TEXT on WHITE, I can hardly see the text on this new format that I detest and I, too, want to REVERT BACK to my old HOTMAIL account settings on ALL my accounts.   I never changed any of them, tried it out once and reverted back within minutes of seeing this horrid, crappy new look called Outlook.   It is awful, it locks my browser and I can't even access ANY of my e-mail messages at all.   I WANT MY ACCOUNTS REVERTED BACK, but some doofus has decided to REMOVE the option that would allow one to go back, and now I'm being forced to use settings that DO NOT WORK FOR ME, CAN NOT READ OR SEE VERY WELL, CAN'T CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME and CAN NOT ACCESS ANY OF MY MESSAGES IN ANY OF MY ACCOUNTS by Clicking on the inbox or any subfolders in any of my accounts.    THIS IS COMPLETELY, TOTALLY and GROSSLY UNACCEPTABLE.     Someone needs to put the option back so we can GO BACK TO OUR ORIGINAL HOTMAIL ACCOUNT SETTINGS WE PREFER!   AS this new look and settings are A TOTAL WASTE OF MY and SEEMS MANY OTHERS TIME and ENERGY!
