I want to switch back to the original live hotmail...I don`t like the new setup of outlook.com

I somehow just wanted to see the new outlook.com but ended up losing my old hotmail look and feel.  Not able to log in as it told me my account didnt exist. I am not pleased with the look of the new mail and dont find it handierso would like to revert to original....please tell me how to!

Hello Everyone,

I can understand that you all want to switch back to the Hotmail interface after it has been automatically upgraded to Outlook. However, just like what the previous moderators have said, the option to switch back to Hotmail is no longer available once your account has been automatically upgraded. All Hotmail users will eventually be upgraded to Outlook.com and users who were upgraded automatically were sent notification messages concerning the upcoming upgrade.

In addition to that, I would like to inform you that Microsoft is upgrading its systems in order to serve everyone better. The new Outlook.com UI is the upgrade for the email system and it has a similar user interface with Windows 8. This has been done by Microsoft in order to cope up with the neverending changes and upgrades in the cyberworld.

We also appreciate all of the feedback that has been provided in this thread. If you want to submit a feedback for things that needs to be improved in the new Outlook.com, kindly refer to Denise_T.'s post here for the link to our feedback page.

    I just received a reply and they are saying that Hotmail CANNOT be reverted back to even by us 15 years users so they are telling us to go and look at all the wonderment of outlook, not listening to us users is what they have decided to do. Like I said we aren't important, us users having so much trouble with outlook and hating the setup, not being able to see the titles of the emails which lead to all kinds of stuff you DO NOT want, spam etc, but again, they really don't care about us users, they think this horrible outlook is really better, NEWSFLASH to Microsoft, OUTLOOK IS A SAD  TRIAL AND US USERS ARE EVEN SADDER THAT YOU DOT CARE WHAT WE WANT.

    now there is NO WAY to get back to Hotmail if you like me made the mistake od believing outlook was better. The truth of the matter is outlook sucks, and after 15 years of having and loving Hotmail they not only change it but finding out so many users hate the set up they wont let us go back to Hotmail. we must assume it's money driving this because when SO MANY users are telling them WE HATE IT!! and they do nothing, we also must assume we the user isn't important because $$$$$ is bottom line and we don't mean anything in that equation.

    outlook only shows a very small part of the title, so you cant tell what the email is, Hotmail left enough roon in the title line so you could decide weather to open it at thyat moment ort wait. Outlook blocks it and only lets a few words there.  I really don't like outlook at all. Been with Hotmail over 16 years and loved it the way it was the last few years but this new way really sucks. We may all have to leave it, if they wont do anything to make it more user friendly.

    You sure hit the nail on the head with this one.  That's one complaint I forgot to mention in my list of issues with Outlook.  Hotmail I never got hit with Trojans or Virii, since the switch to Outlook, my desktop PC has been infected several times, even got past my trojan, spam and virus scanner because I thought it was from a "safe sender", but really wasn;t.  So opened it and got infected.

    Hotmail WORKED and was extremely user friendly, Outlook DOES NOT WORK, is EXTREMELY USER UNFRIENDLY and allows for too many mistakes when attempting to read your e-mail messages now.

    MSN should drop OUILOOK, toss it in the TRASH and BRING HOTMAIL BACK,    It was definitely much nicer and easier to use than this new suckwad format they have forced upon us!
