I want to switch back to the original live hotmail...I don`t like the new setup of outlook.com

I somehow just wanted to see the new outlook.com but ended up losing my old hotmail look and feel.  Not able to log in as it told me my account didnt exist. I am not pleased with the look of the new mail and dont find it handierso would like to revert to original....please tell me how to!

Hello Everyone,

I can understand that you all want to switch back to the Hotmail interface after it has been automatically upgraded to Outlook. However, just like what the previous moderators have said, the option to switch back to Hotmail is no longer available once your account has been automatically upgraded. All Hotmail users will eventually be upgraded to Outlook.com and users who were upgraded automatically were sent notification messages concerning the upcoming upgrade.

In addition to that, I would like to inform you that Microsoft is upgrading its systems in order to serve everyone better. The new Outlook.com UI is the upgrade for the email system and it has a similar user interface with Windows 8. This has been done by Microsoft in order to cope up with the neverending changes and upgrades in the cyberworld.

We also appreciate all of the feedback that has been provided in this thread. If you want to submit a feedback for things that needs to be improved in the new Outlook.com, kindly refer to Denise_T.'s post here for the link to our feedback page.

    THEMES.....That is another thing I do miss.....the personalization of the page!  Non existent here in Outlook...not an option.  I have reviewed the pages talking about how great outlook is and there are a few improvements but it is so slight that I question the whole thing.  If it is so great why not leave what was good in the Hotmail setup available in outlook?

    Hi hgdexter,

     

    I understand that you would like to know which email service you would like to use that is not Outlook.com. I can imagine how frustrated you can be regarding the upgrade for Outlook.com but if you would really like to transfer email services, you can use third party search engines like Bing to search for any email services that fits your needs.

    I can't stand Outlook either ! I have nothing but problems - for 24 hours I cannot send a new email, cannot reply or forward a email when I open it.   The page constantly jumps to places I don't want, you can't see you email when you put on attachments, only a few lines - this format SUCKS !!!!! I have had hotmail for over 10 years and now I HAVE TO CHANGE !!!! that is ridiculous.  THanks MSN ! 

    I POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY AGREE with this users assessment.   I am now stuck with Outlook and can't go back, I never know what I'm doing when attaching files because the area is either cluttered with ad space that OVERLAPS the area or you just can't scroll or anything to see what all you are attaching.  And now getting to my Skydrive is a freakin' chore!   I could just single click SkyDrive at the top or bottom of the screen and move into SkyDrive, now I have to HOVER the mouse pointer over the OUTLOOK BLOB before it shows me those options that were ALWAYS PRESENT at the TOP and BOTTOM of Hotmail.

    And finally where are the Themes like we had with Hotmail where the theme would change to match the time of day, light in the morning, bright in the afternooon and  darker in the evening?  I really liked those graphic themses, and now they are gone as well.

    MSN, either TRASG OUTLOOK or better for everyone GO BACK TO HOTMAIL that everyone loved, as it seems NOONE LOVES OUTLOOK and every message here sure denotes that.

    Why are YOU NOT listening to the masses here?
