I am receiving continuos emails from microsoft saying that lost connection to google account, everytime I reconnect after about 10 min microsoft lost connection again and I receive another email.

Is the problem some config in google account or changes in google services?

Is the problem some config in  microsoft account security?

Note: When reconnecting, the permission asked by google is only offline access.

I have been having this problem as well, for over a year. Extremely annoying. I have tried many times to disconnect my Google account and then reconnect it. It seems to work for about a month, but then the emails begin to arrive again. How long is it going to take Microsoft or anyone to fix this?

I am likewise having the same issue.  I have disconnected and reconnected but the emails keep coming.

They are legitimate Microsoft emails and link to the area where I can manage all accounts linked to my Microsoft account.

I have received these emails on:

    7/16 (twice), 7/18, 8/3, 8/9, 8/13, 8/29 (twice), 9/2

Sometimes I just attempt to reconnect, others I disconnect/reconnect but the results ultimately are the same.  It loses connection.

I do use multiple Windows PC's, a Surface RT, and a Windows Phone 8 which all connect to this Hotmail account.

    Greetings everyone,

I would just like to share you these links which may resolve the issue on Google connection. Please visit all of the links and do all of the following steps:

    1. Activate TSV (Two Steps Verification) on the Gmail account (https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/180744?hl=en)
    2. Generate a (new) App password

    1. Update the new App password in Outlook.com account > “Your email accounts” Gmail POP account settings
    2. You may also want to enable TSV (Two Steps Verification) on your Microsoft account (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/two-step-verification-faq)

Note: Those links/steps are for the "Reconnect to Google" issue.

Should the issue persist, please do not hesitate to reply to this thread, so we can further assist you in resolving this matter.

    Best regards,

    Francis S.

    I don't have Google configured as POP3...
