I am receiving continuos emails from microsoft saying that lost connection to google account, everytime I reconnect after about 10 min microsoft lost connection again and I receive another email.

Is the problem some config in google account or changes in google services?

Is the problem some config in  microsoft account security?

Note: When reconnecting, the permission asked by google is only offline access.

I gave up on this thread, but here's one more statement.

Microsoft have good logging on their systems, right?

So they know how many people are getting this problem and how often, when it started and under exactly what circumstances.  Right?

I'll bet the answers are lots of people, quite often, and we know the circumstances, but MS have all this logged to several decimal places.

So quit wasting our time pretending to help, use the far richer mine of data you've got already, Microsoft, own up to the problem and FIX IT.

Until then, I'll keep separate parallel Windows and Google Contacts, and sync occasionally the steam way via CSV files.  But I shouldn't have to do this in this day and age.

I've been having this issue for several weeks now; it happens every few days, sometimes twice a day.

This is probably related to how MS is handling OAuth access token; I suspect that when it expires, instead of using the refresh token to get a new one, they go through the whole authorization phase again.

On the other hand, given how Google does everything it can to bother MS and MS users, I wouldn't be surprised that they voluntarily revoke Microsoft's access tokens every now and then...
