I am receiving continuos emails from microsoft saying that lost connection to google account, everytime I reconnect after about 10 min microsoft lost connection again and I receive another email.

Is the problem some config in google account or changes in google services?

Is the problem some config in  microsoft account security?

Note: When reconnecting, the permission asked by google is only offline access.

Same here.  The disconnect as experienced by yours truly is between my

Microsoft Contacts account and my Google Contacts account.  I've tried everything recommended in

this thread, including complete disconnect/re-connect and dual validation, with no success - but see my

more lengthy post above re the effect on otherwise inaccessible Live mail duplicates and more detail.

I've re-read all the posts again, and it's clear that Microsoft are letting us all

spin round in circles.  The solutions repeatedly put forward DON'T WORK. Nobody explains what's going on.

Interoperability between Android (Google) and Windows, as embodied in sync of contacts and calendar is

broken, and neither Microsoft nor Google seem to care.

It seems to me that Microsoft are stringing us along, pretending that there's not a bug.

I can only assume that it's corporate policy to leave the disfunction in place, so as to try to lock users in.

We'll, I'm not the only dinosaur around from the IBM-dominated mainframe days to have seen all this before.

Then eventually we got Open Systems, then Open Source, and, eventually a form of Glasnost that broke IBM

(and most of the other then dominant mega-vendors).  Well, here we go again.  Looks like we need an independent group with some muscle to bang a few heads together.

I'd really like to see a set of informed observations from a Moderator with good corporate insight, not just more empathy and advice to try what we know doesn't work.

Just another person with the same problem.

I use Windows Live Mail, 2-step verification for both Google and Microsoft, and an app-specific password to IMAP Gmail.

It's only the Google contacts part that keeps getting disconnected.

"Reconnect to Google" email several times a week.

Tried completely revoking connection and recreating to no avail.
