I am receiving continuos emails from microsoft saying that lost connection to google account, everytime I reconnect after about 10 min microsoft lost connection again and I receive another email.

Is the problem some config in google account or changes in google services?

Is the problem some config in  microsoft account security?

Note: When reconnecting, the permission asked by google is only offline access.

    Hello !

I'm having the very same issue since a few weeks now.

It's true you can disconnect your google account from your Microsoft account. But there is still a permission in place : to completely disconnect, you should go to your Google Account, in the Security tab. Enter the Application en website authorisations part and delete the Microsoft authorisation.

Then, reconnect from the Microsoft account. I did this recently, seems to work so far.

    Hi pmbAustin,

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. I understand that you're having the same concern about getting the "Reconnect to Google" message. Let me assist you on this.

To isolate your concern, as an initial troubleshooting step, we advise that you optimize your browser to make sure that it isn’t contributing to this issue. This will also clean up cookies and browsing history and also improve browser performance. Also, we recommend you to try to use another browser and computer to isolate that this is not a browser- or a computer.

    "How to optimize Internet Explorer"

"How to Clear Your Browser's Cache"

Also, we would like to ask you to unlink the Gmail account and to change the Gmail password. Then, reconnect the Google account again.

If same issue persists after optimizing your browser ans trying to use another computer, kindly get back to us and provide the following information so that we could further investigate your concern.

    • Affected account.
    • Screenshot of the exact message.
    • Fiddler Trace log.

    - Link where they are encountering the error message.

To capture a screenshot, you can follow the steps that can be found on this help article "Use Snipping Tool to capture screen shots"

And to get the Fiddler Trace logs, you can follow the steps on this help article "How to help the Outlook.com support team collect FiddlerCap traces"

Note: For security purposes, please post the account information on the private message area I have provided above your post. You also need to login to this Forum to view the private message link.

    Thanks.
