I cannot add this image in my signature on Outlook.com.

Three forum moderators posted a reply and all three replies are missing an important bit of information.

The image on the Web in SkyDrive or any other place must have public access.  All photos in SkyDrive do not have public access.

Thank you for getting back to us. I  understand how frustrating this must be. Kindly follow the steps below to add picture on your signature.

1. Login to Skydrive accounthttps://skydrive.live.com
2. Select the image that you want to add in your signature.
3. Select View original then highlight the picture using your mouse.
4. After highlighting the image, copy it (Ctrl + C).
5. Go to your inbox, click gear icon located at the upper right side of the page and select More mail setting
6. Click on Message font and signature under Writing email.
7. Type your personal signature (**Ex.**your name, Thank you) and paste (Ctrl + V) the image you have copied.
8. Click Save.

If issue still persist, I created a private message wherein you will provide us the screenshot of your settings or mail option for signature as it is needed for our investigation.

Doing the above still did not work for me. 

All I can seem to get is a link to the picture which isnt what i want. If I do get the picture i want to appear in my signature, when I send an E-mail the image part of the signature appears as a question mark in a box.

This is so frustrating and cant seem to figure it out. Any further help would so much appreciated.

I understand the challenge you've encountered in adding image to your signature.

Please follow the steps below on how to add image to signature from Skydrive.

1.     Login to Skydrive account.

2.     Select the image that you want to add in your signature.

3.     Select View original then copy the URL in the address bar. 

Example: < https://******.bay.livefilestore.com/*******.JPG?psid=1 > Remove the text after the jpg, jpeg, bmp or png.

4.     Go to your inbox.

5.     Click gear icon located at the upper right side of the page and select More mail setting.

6.     Click on Message font and signature under“Writing email”.

7.     Type your personal signature.

8.     Choose Edit in HTML under the drop down list then <img src=””>and paste the URL link of the photo in between double qoutes. For example:

Your name

<img src=”http://afjhfhfhahf.com/gfsgffggfasd.jpg”> 

9.      Choose Rich Text under the drop down list to see your photo.

10.    Click Save.

I followed your directions, uploaded the image to skydrive so it would be on the web and it will not allow me to paste the image.  When hotmail first switched to outlooked it worked (for a little while) and then stopped working.
