I cannot add this image in my signature on Outlook.com.

Not sure if this post has been resolved or not... but I encountered the same issues as what others have been mentioning.

I created a signature and uploaded it into skydrive. Shared the image to my outlook email. But still no image in my signature when I compose or create a new message.

I also tried to open the image in skydrive, right click, view original, and then right click, copy image, then paste it into the signature box in Outlook Live. Disappointment!

The problem I saw is that aside from the image, you must have some text in the signature.

I tried this multiple times and without any text, the image will not be saved. Even if you put like one space and then hit ENTER and below paste the image signature, it will appear now.

Try it and hope it helps others.... :)

PS: They are right it has to be in a shared location or something, because if you copy and paste from your hard drive, it will flag a message that the signature is too long. If you switch the signature to "EDIT in HTML" you will see the signature is converted to be too long... and it will not be saved. So upload in skydrive and follow what they say in the previous messages. (You will have access to skydrive and will not need to create an account because you already have an Outlook account, its single sign-on for Microsoft).

The image needs to be online in order for Hotmail to allow it in your email signature. 

If you upload it to Facebook or any site that allows you to share photos and then copy the image from that site and past this copied version into your email signature section on Hotmail it should be visible

Uploading and copying it from an online site will create the embedded link that Hotmail requires.

If you do not have Facebook etc... printerbees.com is another option.

I am having same problem, i cannot place logo image in my signature following are steps i followed:

(provided that logo image is already uploaded to my website and i can see that image separately when i directly access the image : http://mywebsite.com/images/mylogoimage.png)

1. I went into signature settings.
2. open logo image in separate browser by direct url.
3. copy pasted image (and image successfully show up)
4. Save.

i went to compose new email and my new signature appeared but without image, a cross marks was showing in place of image.

i Went back to edit my signature, again i cannot see the logo image but a cross mark instead , which was showing correctly before i save the signature last time.

i went into edit in HTML.

the html for my image was appearing as above. which is incorrect.

i changed HTML to.

and click save.

i went to compose new mail, and again image was not appearing.

i went back to edit signature, and switched to edit in html ...

surprisingly the HTML for image was :

why did outlook.com change the HTML? and i think this is the problem.

every time i try to correct the HTML for image, it is automatically changed and i believe this is the problem stopping every one from displaying any sort of image in logo.

please advice and help us resolving issue.

Do you login to SkyDrive,

2. view the image
3. Right click on the image, View original
4. Right click on the original image, Copy
5. Go to the signature edit box
6. Right click, Paste.

Help needed!

I have read countless threads on this and sadly feel no closer to resolving my concern. I suspect the image I am trying to save in my email signature is not formatted correctly (although it is a jpeg and has saved to skydive without any issue), as I have successfully added other images to my email signature without concern. I have made the image public, but continue to only see the written link when pasting into the personal signature area. Other images and photos I have pasted appear without concern.

Any ideas, direction or comments would be great. I have been on this for days and feel useless!
