Outlook launches without a Home Screen.
Menu Items are accessible and function properly (i.e. compose and send email, access Accounts etc.).
However, Home Screen does not render and you cannot see (or access) Mailboxes, Calendar, Contacts etc.
Appreciate that this is an issue with Public Beta Version but Apple has now issued this to One Million Mac Users and plenty of Microsoft Users rely on Outlook for Mac so, will need to be resolved.

You may be right, but this "great" program you are touting does not work.
Yes, it does work. When run with a beta OS, Outlook had a hiccup but that was easily remedied by Apple - albeit a little late for me.
I've no idea why you're trying to compare Outlook to Pages in any event.

You must be joking. Firstly, Pages is a second (or third) rate word processing program, not a full-fledged mail/calendar/contacts, etc. program like Outlook, which is being discussed here. Secondly, Pages is a second (or third) rate word processing program, fine for those who'd like to write letters home to Mom but a poor fit for a written dissertation, for example.

Great news - I loaded Yosemite Beta 3 last night and Outlook now works perfectly once again. All I had to do was launch Outlook after loading Beta 3 and all is good!
