sync outlook.com & outlook desktop application

i'm really loving outlook.com - jumped all in and moved everything over from gmail.

do you all have any plans to add some type of sync functionality between outlook.com and the outlook desktop application?  i manage my contacts through the outlook desktop application, and it's a bit of a pain to export contacts from outlook desktop application to a .csv, then import into outlook.com.  would sure be nice if there was a way to sync content to & from these two relatives, especially contacts & calendars.

    This doesn't address the issue of keeping two lists, that are constantly being updated, in synch.  It just uploads contacts from your desktop. What happens if you add a contact to Outlook.com from a phone or tablet?  Will Outlook.com then send it to my desktop?

    Outlook Connector does not work with Windows 8 and Outlook 2013. They keep saying that Outlook 2013 will sync with outlook.com and that you can sync multipal calendars, but there seems to be no place to find out HOW to do that.. Hopefully with the full release of Widows 8 this week, someone will address our issues.

    For your additional concern, may I ask on how did you sync your Google Calendar to Outlook Calendar which led you to sync only one calendar? Perhaps you have missed to share all of your Google Calendar onto Outlook Calendar. You may also refer to this link for more information:

    OK.. I have Windows 8 and Outlook 13 but I can not find a way to sync them. I also have the Outlook Connector installed, but it does not show up in my add-ins so I don't know how to set it up.

    Lastly the first listed question asked about contacts AND calendars but I only see answer for e-mails and contacts.

    I am now using Google Calendar Sync to Sync my Outlook calendar with Google and then I sync my Google Calendar with outlook.com. First this is an extra step, second, it only syncs one calendar and third I am trying to stop using Google and just use Outlook and Outlook.com and keep everything synced up. I may have to keep doing it that way because Google also syncs with my phone unless outlook.com and do that as well??? Thanks
