someone DOES have the same hotmail email address as me, this is a security issue

Hi,

Please help me, I am at my wits end with this. I keep getting emails intended for another person with the same email address as me. I have got personal emails intended for the other person. I live in Ireland & the other person with exactly the same email address lives in Canada. At this stage I know all her personal details as I am getting what seems like all her emails. I have received her airline tickets, college transcripts etc & Im so worried that she may be receiving my personal emails. I got a message from PayPal today telling me I had bought something which I hadn't & I had to cancel the transaction. I get all her Facebook updates & I am not on Facebook. I feel I know her personally at this stage.

Please help me, I do not want to change my email address as I need it for work.  I have changed my password to no success.

what you saying is incorrect.  I have my Hotmail account for years and about two years ago someone has the exact same email address as me, so far I was getting his bank statement, and I was complaining to his bank and also to his girlfriend, asking her to tell the person to change his email address, but no reply from anybody. Now his using the same email address for his Facebook.

So please don't say it's not possible.

What I think is possible, that no action going to be taken from Microsoft to correct the situation.

I don't want to sound ungrateful, but instead of repeating that how impossible this situation is, would be nice if someone actually would check into this and see that my email address have two owners, thanks

for the unique Microsoft account which never can be duplicated.... according to Microsoft anyway

It is quite possible that they don't have access to your account, but have used your email (deliberately or not)

I to have the same problem. It started a few months ago. I keep getting emails for some guy called Barry Bullshit. I am now getting facebook messages and friend requests. THIS IS A SECURITY ISSUE FOR ME.
