should work. Note that Hotmail is now Outlook.com if that's what is confusing you. Your @Hotmail.co.uk email address should still work, its the interface and branding that has changed. Please see: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/outlook/auto-upgrade-outlook-faq .

With the warning that a reset will delete AutoComplete data, such as passwords (do you have those backed up?) and you will have to reinstall or re-enable browser add-ons, use the Reset IE Settings button in Internet Options> Advanced.
What a reset of IE settings will do:

I am so upset that my hotmail e-mails are not showing up on the outlook . It should have copies on to the new outlook but so far the inbox is empty. what have i got to do to retrieve this informatioin back from hotmail. This is appauling.

Is this a recent development? Were older (Hotmail) messages, at one time, in the outlook.com Inbox?
