should work. Note that Hotmail is now Outlook.com if that's what is confusing you. Your @Hotmail.co.uk email address should still work, its the interface and branding that has changed. Please see: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/outlook/auto-upgrade-outlook-faq .

With the warning that a reset will delete AutoComplete data, such as passwords (do you have those backed up?) and you will have to reinstall or re-enable browser add-ons, use the Reset IE Settings button in Internet Options> Advanced.
What a reset of IE settings will do:

I somehow messed up when signing in to my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account, I think I have requested a change of password, but, I would like to retain this. My second email address for security is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. To confirm I would like to retain *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
Please don't try to post email addresses. Forum software removes them.
