If you are unable to sign in to your account, or have an account-specific inquiry that may require providing personal data to investigate, we now offer a new online form to **contact support**. This helps protect the privacy of your account and allows us to work with you in a secured environment.

Even if you’re not sure where your question belongs, we recommend **creating a support case** and we’ll make sure you find the help that you’re looking for.

How can we get into an account that has been hacked?  We filled out several of the forms asked for and the latest suggestion was "start a new account".  I;ve had this hotmail account since 1990 and I have multiple emails and contacts that I cannot replicate.  How can I talk to a real person?

We recently received a request to recover your Microsoft account @hotmail.ca. Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership.  Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously, and our commitment to protecting your personal information requires that we take the utmost care in ensuring that you are the account owner.

We have taken the additional step of blocking your account @hotmail.ca until we can verify you as the account owner. This will prevent any further use of the account, and protect you from any possible malicious activity.

Anyone see the problem on why we can't get our accounts back,  cause there support system is based on a AUTOMATED system.

I have given all info and still no help,  guess Microsoft will never see another penny out of me again
