If you are unable to sign in to your account, or have an account-specific inquiry that may require providing personal data to investigate, we now offer a new online form to **contact support**. This helps protect the privacy of your account and allows us to work with you in a secured environment.

Even if you’re not sure where your question belongs, we recommend **creating a support case** and we’ll make sure you find the help that you’re looking for.

I don't think there is much you can do but wait. I have read others had the account restored 4 months later. I pretty much have gotten over the anxiety of losing all my contact information. Some of that hurts too because I am currently in Mexico and I don't even have a contact for my parents! Since the merge with Skype I didn't realize that if my Hotmail went down I would lose all those contacts as well. I am also waiting on a possible invitation for training and hope they will know to call me if I'm invited. So in the end it is sit and wait and just assume never. I keep getting this message :

    There's a temporary problem

There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later

So 6 weeks later I am still getting try again............ so how many times do I try Microsoft? Besides I only get copy paste answers so I don't know if they are really working on it anyways.

    Hi,

I feel like I have tried everything to recover my outlook.com account but so far nothing!!

I no longer have the alternate email, my security question won't work, and the questionnaire keeps rejecting me every time!

I have sent a personal request to Microsoft Support and even that hasn't been very helpful.

All I want is my email account back!

I have submitted my case again, Today and We do have a reference number given to Us by a Microsoft Representative. This will be our Fourth case number , We are hoping this will work. We have been trying to get our Account ID back now for 6 days. Our PC crashed due to Updates failed through Microsoft Updates. We had contacted Microsoft which helped us redo the Windows program and Activate and Validate our Window 7 Professional program. We had to pay for this remote assistance program to have this done. Now we would just like to have our Account ID's back. We received an link from a representative here on this site, as we posted a question to receive help. We really hope someone can help us.

     Thank You
