Microsoft is pushing me over the edge! For over two weeks now I cannot access my account and I get an incorrect password message. Needless to say it has been impossible to reset. I have sent through various requests for support, the link they send back to me merely takes me back to the history of my queries without offering any further explanation as to how to resolve the problem.

The last link I received this morning brings this up:

To continue submitting your support request, "Support Site" should be listed as a trusted site in Internet Explorer.

To add "Support Site" to the trusted sites zone, follow these steps:

    1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
    2. Click the Security tab.
    3. Click the Trusted Sites icon, and then click Sites.
    4. Click to clear the Require server verification check box.
    5. Check whether http://support.microsoft.com is listed in your trusted sites. If it is listed, type http://oas.support.microsoft.com, and then click Add.
    6. Check whether https://support.microsoft.com is listed in your trusted sites. If it is listed, type https://oas.support.microsoft.com, and then click Add.
    7. Close all dialog boxes, and then refresh the browser window.

Well, I have done that, and checked that Microsoft Support is listed as a safe site, and yet the link provided in the email brings me back to this page every time.

I have not been able to submit my month end invoices yet and it is the 1st of June today. I have wasted hours and hours of my precious time trying to resolve the issue and to be able to get into MY new laptop (Windows 8 disaster) which Microsoft is preventing me from doing for some obscure reason. My Microsoft account is active. I have updated my security information, I have completed the online form to  request unblocking of what? My account? My account is active if I access via my old laptop. This is evidently a Windows 8 related problem. My old laptop by the way which is nearly impossible to work on as it is so slow and keeps on hanging.

SO NOW WHAT? Any chance of getting a REAL person to give me CONCRETE assistance instead of sending links that go nowhere? PLEASE!!!!!

This site is so frustrating. I cannot figure out how to contact support (that link in the opening post doesn't do that), and I cannot figure out how to post my own thread.  It's just a maze of useless faq's...

I would really appreciate some help here if someone can? I used to play Dirt 2 on my Steam account with no problems. Since I last played it I have upgrade my hotmail.co.uk address to an outlook.com address. While I can still login into the Games for Windows app with no problems. It doesn't work when I try to login into it with Dirt 2. It just tells me that the email or password is incorrect. So I deleted some Xlive files from my AppData folder, then signed into my account from within Dirt 2 again. It downloaded my profile and then told me that the serial key has already been used with a different account. Well this is not true. Only I have used the key. But I'm guessing it somehow screwed up in during the transition to an outlook address. How do I fix this problem? Thanks!

Isn't there one person on this forum with any clout?  Microsoft are not listening.  It's been nearly a month for me now and I swear I've tried everything.  I think their new commercials on TV are a sick joke.
