android outlook.com set sender name

I downloaded and configured the latest Outlook android app with the cool metro interface. however I noticed that when I send emails my name is not dispalyed as sender but rather I only see my email address

In otehr words the recipients would see

From: ******@hotmail.com

Instead of

From: My Name

This doesnt happen when I send emails from the web interface or the windows 8 app, only withy the Android app. As much as I have looked I cant find where it is you set the sender's name

Hi Everyone,

As some of you already know, there have been a recent update to the application which include "Recipients can see the sender name instead of just an email address in mail sent from the app".

For others who have not yet updated the Outlook.com app on your mobile devices, kindly do so.

Hello all. Appears to be working now on my nexus, oh and on my Samsung galaxy s4.

    My experimentation shows that this is just how the Outlook.com app works.  It cannot display the name associated with the account.  However, the built-in Android "Email" app seems to be able to do what you want (it did for me).  Why not just use that?  I don't see any advantage to using the Outlook.com app in any case.  It cannot do any more than the native app can, it just looks more like the Modern UI of the Mail app on Windows 8 or the Outlook.com webmail UI.
