I downloaded and configured the latest Outlook android app with the cool metro interface. however I noticed that when I send emails my name is not dispalyed as sender but rather I only see my email address

In otehr words the recipients would see

From: ******@hotmail.com

Instead of

From: My Name

This doesnt happen when I send emails from the web interface or the windows 8 app, only withy the Android app. As much as I have looked I cant find where it is you set the sender's name

Hi Everyone,

As some of you already know, there have been a recent update to the application which include "Recipients can see the sender name instead of just an email address in mail sent from the app".

For others who have not yet updated the Outlook.com app on your mobile devices, kindly do so.

If you want to leave any feedback for the Outlook.com application, you can by going through this link:

Ok, well I hope that this is something that can be resolved soon, as it has been ongoing for quite sometime, and the inability to send an email from my device due to the lack of professionalism that is displayed w/out a sender name, renders the phone useless to me.

Again, please note, this is on the email client that is native to the phone, NOT the Outlook app version available in GooglePlay.

    Thanks!
