android outlook.com set sender name

I downloaded and configured the latest Outlook android app with the cool metro interface. however I noticed that when I send emails my name is not dispalyed as sender but rather I only see my email address

In otehr words the recipients would see

From: ******@hotmail.com

Instead of

From: My Name

This doesnt happen when I send emails from the web interface or the windows 8 app, only withy the Android app. As much as I have looked I cant find where it is you set the sender's name

Hi Everyone,

As some of you already know, there have been a recent update to the application which include "Recipients can see the sender name instead of just an email address in mail sent from the app".

For others who have not yet updated the Outlook.com app on your mobile devices, kindly do so.

Hello all. Appears to be working now on my nexus, oh and on my Samsung galaxy s4.

    At this time, there is no solution for clients using Outlook.com. Outlook.com always uses the primary alias as the sender when using a client program. Only when using the web interface is a non-primary alias retained as the sender.

    Is there an expected time when there will be a solution? As someone mentioned above, it is very unprofessional looking and I would think drive people away from wanting to use the product.

    It seems to me the outlook.com and hotmail.com are two products with very large user bases. This is also the only time I've seen such an issue and it's been happening for years from what I see online.

    I am a recent newcomer to the app but it has been frustrating to me that from my phone, I can't send an email that has my name as the sender.
