android outlook.com set sender name

I downloaded and configured the latest Outlook android app with the cool metro interface. however I noticed that when I send emails my name is not dispalyed as sender but rather I only see my email address

In otehr words the recipients would see

From: ******@hotmail.com

Instead of

From: My Name

This doesnt happen when I send emails from the web interface or the windows 8 app, only withy the Android app. As much as I have looked I cant find where it is you set the sender's name

Hi Everyone,

As some of you already know, there have been a recent update to the application which include "Recipients can see the sender name instead of just an email address in mail sent from the app".

For others who have not yet updated the Outlook.com app on your mobile devices, kindly do so.

Hello all. Appears to be working now on my nexus, oh and on my Samsung galaxy s4.

    I have the same issue ever since the old Hotmail app was upgraded and still waiting for a fix, hopefully asap.

    It was fine on the old Hotmail app, but not this Outlook app. I am using an international version of Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100). Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times, same issue persists.

    Actually when the Outlook app was first launched, it already have this issue. But the old Hotmail app was still available then, so I kept using it. If you can bring the old Hotmail app back temporarily, that would be helpful.
