how to stop outlook.com redirect to ninemsn.com.au after loggin out? This only happens since a few days ago.

Question from Australia:

When i upgraded hotmail to outlook.com, one of the most stunning feature is after logging out outlook.com, it just stay with outlook.com log out page. However a few days ago, i noticed after logging out outlook.com, the browser was automatically redirected to ninemsn.com.au like what hotmail used to do. This website re-direction is really annoying and I would appreciate any help to show me how this can be stopped.

    Hi everyone,

    Please be informed that it is by default that when you sign out of your Outlook.com, you will be redirected to MSN page. The system randomly chooses what MSN location you will be redirected.

    @brimandy and @AprilBuddy,

    You've mentioned that upon signing out of your Outlook.com account, you got an option to select Australia or America to be your default landing page. Can you provide us a screenshot of this option? Kindly post it in the private message area that I have created for you. To view it, please sign in using a Microsoft account and click Private Messages tab across All Replies.

    Currently, there is no option in Outlook.com that will let you choose your landing page when you sign out of your account. If you think that the option "Redirect To" is essential, you can post it on our feedback page. Suggestions and Feature requests are welcomed by our product team.

    For me, it always sent me to MSN UK. Until recently. Perhaps Microsoft were not getting enough revenue.

    Hi, Woodg,

    I appreciate your take on the Outlook.com service ethic:  put up with annoying features or just go away.

    But the difference with Yahoo in my own experience is that they've always redirected to a Yahoo page full of inappropriate and offensive trivia.

    Outlook.com on the other hand had the generic log-out users apparently want ... but then got rid of it.

    I feel certain that revenue IS generated for Microsoft when you go to the MSN page. As I said, live with it. Or go somewhere else. But do remember that both Google and Yahoo generate revenue from their email services, too.
