how to stop outlook.com redirect to ninemsn.com.au after loggin out? This only happens since a few days ago.

Question from Australia:

When i upgraded hotmail to outlook.com, one of the most stunning feature is after logging out outlook.com, it just stay with outlook.com log out page. However a few days ago, i noticed after logging out outlook.com, the browser was automatically redirected to ninemsn.com.au like what hotmail used to do. This website re-direction is really annoying and I would appreciate any help to show me how this can be stopped.

    Hi,

    I have the same thing happening with my computer, (going to msn usa, when it use to go to aus)

    Therese T's response from microsoft is very lazy as it would be very easy for microsoft to redirect to msn aus,

    Pretty discraceful from microsoft really

    After you click on the sign out tab wait till the page goes blank and immediately double click on any website (I use Google) on your bookmark bar. This is a blatant attempt to force you to view the  that appears on both ninemsn and msn. If that doesn't stop them, get another email account - which is what I'll be doing soon if they keep this forced redirecting going on.

    Exactly the same thing happened to me. No luck trying to find out what I need to do to switch it back to ninemsn. If I have to see advertising I at least want it to be relevant!

    Any info on how to change this would be appreciated.

    Hello,

    I agree this is really annoying.

    Up until today I was taken to ninemsn, and today I was asked if I want to be redirected to ninemsn or msn, or if I knew where I wanted to go. I did know where I wanted to go, so I clicked that. Now when I log out I am taken to msn. I have no interest in this!  Please can you enable it so we can go back to ninemsn.

    Thank you for letting us know that you are experiencing same issue. We understand where you are coming from but as what have Alden D. said on his post last March 13, there is no option to stop being directed to the said websites after logging out from Outlook.com.

    Surely there as an option to choose which MSN Page you sign out to? I have no interest in a USA MSNPage, so would like to close outlook to 9MSN page as before. I know you need to blast me with advertising, just not Merican please.
