Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. Allow me to assist you on how you can setup the Automatic vacation reply on your Microsoft account. Please be informed that all Hotmail users will be upgraded to Outlook.com and plans were shared when Outlook.com preview was launched. To ensure a smooth transition for all Hotmail customers, the upgrade will be gradual. This is the start of that upgrade process. Please refer to the steps below on how to do this.
- Sign in to Outlook.com.
- Click the gear icon on the upper right corner beside your name.
- Select More mail settings.
- Under Managing your account click Sending automated vacation replies.
- Enter the message you'd like to send while you're away.
- Click Save.
In addition, note that there's some features that might be turned off for newly created Microsoft accounts.
- Sending automated vacation replies (auto reply option)
- Email signature
- POP aggregation (send Hotmail email with any email address)
- Forwarding email
- Reply-To address (receive replies to Hotmail email at a different email address)
- Send-As address (send email in Hotmail from other email addresses)
