I'm trying to signin to Outlook.com with my account and it's failing with a blank page but MSPPError=-2147205086 is at the end of the url.

I am not logged in to office365 or outlook on any other machine.

I can still access my account using Outlook 2013.

Any ideas please?

Hi Everyone,

This is Carlo of the Outlook.com Support Escalations Team.  I am a Senior Support Analyst for Microsoft and I am part of the Team investigating this issue/behavior.

I would like to set everyone's expectations that this issue is still being investigated by our Microsoft Engineers.  We have forwarded the screenshots and fiddler trace logs that have been provided by the earlier customers.  Please be assured that all of the information that you have submitted to us have been collated properly and such information will be used in order to determine the root cause of this issue.

I would advise everyone to check this thread from time to time for updates on this issue.  In the meantime, I would like everyone to try this possible workaround only if this is applicable to you and your account:

1.) Determine if the Office 365 subscription that you are using is the Preview version or not.

2.) Take note of the first time that this issue happened and if it coincides that you used the Office 365 preview.

3.) If you are using the preview version and if the time that this issue first happened coincides with each other, then kindly unsubscribe from the preview version.

4.) Try again and see if the issue persists.

In the meantime, we will be investigating this issue further on our end also so that we can compare the results of our investigation with our Microsoft Engineers.

I would also like to thank MJJennings for sharing this information with us.  We greatly appreciate it.

We would like to thank everyone for your patience and understanding regarding this issue.

Thank you.

Regards,

Carlo

    Exact Same issue

Browser doesn't matter, neither does the computer I use, or Tablet or any of several emulators.

I get Calendar, People and Skydrive but not Outlook. Outlook quit April 26 at 4:27 PM.

So MS can we please stop the "boil some water" approach and tell me exactly WTF MSPPError=-2147205086 means and what to do about it? It's just a message from the application.. have the Outlook PM look into the source code and find out WHY. It comes from someplace, and for some reason.

You are holding my email hostage and badly damaging Microsoft's "Cloud Experience"

I was also having the problem with accessing live.com. I was getting the https://pod51030.outlook.com/owa/?hm=1&f=255&MSPPError=-2147205086  error page. After reading this thread I did remember that I had added the domain to a test account with Office365. I have disabled the domain from being the default domain and removed it from the Office365. This has corrected the problem. Thank you for a useful thread! =)
