How to delete one mis-spelled email address from auto-complete list

I previously mis-spelled an email address when sending a message .... and now, that mis-spelled address is displayed in the auto-complete list each time I begin to type the correct email address.

This is NOT an issue with my contact list ... I do not have a contact defined for this address.

I do have this option enabled:  Give suggestions for anyone I've communicated with (contacts and non-contacts) and I want to keep that option enabled. I realize that I could select this option: Only suggest people in my contact list, and the mis-spelled address would not appear in the auto-complete list .... but I want the auto-complete function to give suggestions from both contacts and non-contacts.

What I am looking for is the ability to delete one entry from the non-contact addresses that are maintained by the auto-complete feature. Can this be done in Outlook.com??

    In this thread, I have completely described the problem (which is the lack of any way to manage the auto-complete list ... the lack of ability to add, delete,or change an entry in the auto-complete list that does not correspond to an entry in ones contact list). I have described how to recreate the problem. Other Forum Moderators have posted (in this thread) that they have reproduced the problem. I have posted links to other customer's complaints about this exact same problem.

    So I just do not understand what your escalation group is investigating!!!!

    I just want to know if Microsoft is going to fix this problem sometime in 2013. Answering that question does not take a lot of investigation. Microsoft maintains a database of every issue that has been reported. That database indicates if the issue will be fixed and what release the fix is scheduled for. All I am asking is for someone at Microsoft to check that database, and tell me if a fix for the problem I have reported is scheduled to be released sometime in 2013.

    Please do not post any more scripted replies. Please just answer my question.

    I am still waiting for someone from Microsoft to tell me if the problem/issue/design flaw/bug/ (whatever you want to call it) will be corrected in 2013.

    We understand that the investigation process is longer than you expected. Currently, we are still waiting for the results of the Microsoft engineers' investigation of this issue. As soon as we got updates, we will notify you through this thread.

    I appreciate your response .....

    However, it has been FOUR MONTHS since I started this thread. Other customers have also started threads complaining about the same issue.

    Are you telling me that it has taken FOUR MONTHS for Microsoft to "investigate" this issue, and after FOUR MONTHS the "investigation" is still not completed??????

    I have completely described the issue. Several other Forum Moderators have posted that they too have been able to reproduce this problem.

    So please explain to me what more is there left to "investigate"?????

    I would just like to know if this issue is going to be resolved in 2013. Microsoft has most certainly developed and documented plans for the next several releases of outlook.com .... all I need to know is if a fix for this issue is included in those plans. Why has it taken FOUR MONTHS to answer such a simple question.

    Is this issue going to be fixed in 2013??????

    This thread was started by a customer named MrHaroHaro. This customer was complaining about the same problem that I have described here in this thread ... so I responded to MrHaroHaro's thread.

    Unfortunately, Forum Moderator Cherry Anne M did not bother to read all of MrHaroHaro's thread and mistakenly assumed that the thread belonged to me. She then assumed that I was posting a duplicate thread, and locked the thread started by MrHaroHaro.

    It was NOT APPROPRIATE for Forum Moderator Cherry Anne M to lock MrHaroHaro's thread ... and thus I am requesting that someone unlock that thread.

    Rather than wasting your time trying to stifle discussion about the outlook.com bug that is being reported, you should be using your time and energy in actually helping your customers!!!!
