How to delete one mis-spelled email address from auto-complete list

I previously mis-spelled an email address when sending a message .... and now, that mis-spelled address is displayed in the auto-complete list each time I begin to type the correct email address.

This is NOT an issue with my contact list ... I do not have a contact defined for this address.

I do have this option enabled:  Give suggestions for anyone I've communicated with (contacts and non-contacts) and I want to keep that option enabled. I realize that I could select this option: Only suggest people in my contact list, and the mis-spelled address would not appear in the auto-complete list .... but I want the auto-complete function to give suggestions from both contacts and non-contacts.

What I am looking for is the ability to delete one entry from the non-contact addresses that are maintained by the auto-complete feature. Can this be done in Outlook.com??

    Hi,

We will send your feature request to our product team but there is no assurance that they will respond. Your best option is the feedback forum as they will scrub all the feature request and if there are considerable amount of request with a certain feature, they will add it up on their future development of the product.

    Thank you

    Andreo Paulo_D:

THANK YOU for your help in reproducing the problem I am having (i.e., unable to remove an address from the auto complete list).

As you suggested, I will report this problem on the feedback.live.com site.

However, since you have also been able to reproduce this problem, I am requesting that either you, or your management, escalate this issue to the Outlook product team via your internal network.

I would like to know if the Outlook product team is (or is not) going to include a fix for this issue in the next release of Outlook.com. I know that project plans include a list of all fixes to be included in a release, and the release project manager has access to this list. I am just asking for the project manager to provide a yes/no response as to whether a fix for this issue is scheduled to be included in the next Outlook.com release.

    Hi,

I have followed the steps that you have provided and I'm able to reproduce your concern.

The feature to remove the misspelled contact in the auto complete list is currently not available. Please post your feedback, comments or suggestions to http://feedback.live.com so the product group can make improvements on our product for future releases.

    Thank you.

    Moderators:

Please follow these steps and tell me if you can reproduce the problem I am having ....

    1. Open page to compose a new message.
    2. Start typing the first one or two letters of an address into the TO field.
    3. Observe the list of suggested auto-completion addresses.
    4. Do each of those suggested auto-completion addresses have an X on the right? If not, then you have reproduced the problem ... there is no way to delete an address in the auto-completion list.
