How do I remove ads from Outlook.com

I NEVER WANTED TO CHANGE FROM HOTMAIL BUT NOE THAT IT WAS FORCED UPON ME HOW DO I REMOVE THE VERY ANNOYING ADS TO THE RIGHT OF MY EMAILS AND OBSCURE MY VIEW OF THE WHOLE EMAIL

The ads are how Microsoft makes the money to keep Outlook free.

You can upgrade to Outlook Plus (paid) to be rid of them permanently.

 If you have PLUS and ads please contact the Billing Department.

If you are using Firefox you can use either popup blocker or No-script but neither will reclaim the space the ads take up.

    I followed the link and successfully downloaded the Web ADS stop for Firefox on my old XP computer. The icon shows on my computer's right top screen. But when I open my outlook email inbox, the ads still shows at bottom and takes almost one third of the of the screen. 

    I also downloaded the Web ADS stopper for google chrome for my windows 7 computer, it worked great.

    I use Webmail Ad Blocker on two PCs running Windows 7 and Firefox.

    I do not see any ads in my outlook.com .... no ads on right, no ads on bottom, etc.

    Yes, the ugly banner is an issue.  I got it to go away when I close my bookmarks panel, but the minute I open the bookmarks panel it returns at the bottom of my screen.  I found a really neat solution to the entire issues.  I migrated my outlook account over to Mozilla Thunderbird.  Has the look and feel of outlook/hotmail without all the extraneous garbage.. Hope this helps.

    You know what, you guys are insane. Previously, none wanted to have account in outlook (All are in love with Gmail) and now they found interesting due to services and you started playing this silly money making add business. This is so ridiculous. Please remove adds from the side panels and think about other options to make money. 

    You can't ask legacy account holders to move on premium ones. Please spare some privilege to them. Hope this message serves the severity.
