I have tried and tried to block all the sexual emails I get in my Junk folder the more I block the more I get.  WHY?  There is not a way to restrict them I have tried.  Please I am so tired of them.  I want to close my Hotmail account I have had for years, that is how sick and tired of them I am.  Because my name is the email account you just let anyone post email to it? I would hate to close my account, and I like my name being on it.  How can I fix this it is important.

If outlook.com is sending these messages to Junk, they're being (in outlook terms) "blocked."

You cannot create a rule to delete or do anything else to these messages. Rules don't work in the Junk folder.

Look through the Junk folder every day or two to see if legitimate messages were sent to Junk and delete the messages that really are spam/junk.

I have found, that opening them makes the matter worse as they track you if you want open it. The best solution and albeit a lengthy one is to, just delete them  don't open just delete after about 3 months you'll notice they get less and less and eventually they stop. Don't looks at any pictures in Google that have anything to do with fashion or young people as these are the main offenders as they send details to the companies that putting the pics up with put your knowledge. If you notice when you click on say a washing machine picture your emails then are washing machine related, also make sure you delete cookies regularly to stop them tracking you. Good luck  it's working so far for my husband and I's accounts.  husband and I's accounts.

Why you get more spam is because your ISP and Microsoft will do nothing about it.

This answer is a joke because I have blocked and reported phishing emails forever I notice the header of the email is the same but the email address changes all the time, BUT the email address is so ridiculously junk email that surely MS could/should notice this weird email address and block it but no MS sends it through for me to fix up. And I don't want to change filter to exclusive cause I miss some emails. there is another reply that states including keywords. I will give this a try.

    Hi Christian,

Thank you for keeping us updated and we apologize for the delay in response.

I suggest you to set your Junk email filter to Exclusive and check if it helps.

Note: If the Exclusive level was set, messages from senders not on your Contacts or Safe senders lists will be sent to the Junk folder. By default, the Junk folder will automatically delete messages after 10 days.

To set your Junk email filter to Exclusive in Outlook.com please follow the steps below:

    1. Click on the gear icon.
    2. From the list select Options.
    3. Expand Junk >>Filters and reporting.
    4. Under Choose a junk email filter select Exclusive.
    5. Click save.

Let us know if you need further assistance. We will be glad to help.

    Thank you.

I think everyone knows how to block unwanted mails. Me and we are asking is for example you may give an option which will deny to recieve mails those senders does not included my addressbook.
