Teams hogging memory, running slowly

Hi

Teams is almost killing my laptop. Here's an example:

Is there anything  can do to reduce Teams' memory usage?

Or do I just need to buy more memory?

    Same problem here. Horrible how Microsoft handles such critical problems. Unusable.

    Consumes half a gig of memory all the time. Can't use this application anymore until they fix it.
